Live Free or Die Hard
To generate publicity for a co-branded partnership between Arby’s and the Bruce Willis movie, Live Free or Die Hard, DMI created a sweepstakes microsite featuring a custom branded game.
Utilizing the concept behind Arby’s Die Hard television commercial, DMI created a multi-level game to enhance the site experience and encourage return visits. The fast-moving, side-scrolling, Flash-based “Heist” game featured environmental branding in the form of Die Hard movie posters on walls, billboards, and Arby’s logos. Over 65,000 sweepstakes entries were received. Users spent an overall average of 7 minutes on the site, with over 5 minutes of that time spent playing the game.
